I backpacked through Spain and I started in Barcelona. The hotel was easy to reach thanks to the many tubes and buses in Barcelona. Staff in hotel knewed all the nice local places in Barcelona. Told us a lot of good tapas bars and wine bars. We visited everything like parc guel, houses of gaudi, ramblas, la sagrada familia...
Great location and close to all big attractions!
