I really liked my stay at NH Ciutat De Mataro. Everywhere I go I try to find a NH Hotel. This was the only hotel that had a room during the nights we wanted to stay. It takes about half an hour to get to Barcelona. The hotel is near the beach, but also situated in a bit industrial area. During the day ok, only at night you might not feel that safe. But that´s only on the streets, in the hotel everything is fine. The hotel was just as you expect of a NH hotel and I´m glad I chose for it again.
