The Queen hotel was recommend by friend and was not disappointed. The room was comfortable, brilliant prompt service, lovely breakfast, very informative and helpful about the local surroundings and services.

You definitely have to visit the shops in York, they´re very lovely.

Furthermore you can visit:
- Aaldborough Roman Site
- Byland Abbey
- Castle Howard
- Duncombe Park
- Newby Hall and Gardens.

Those are very nice to visit. Of course you have so much more you can visit here. Trust me you will love York.

Friends of mine stayed at the hotel once and they were very positive about it.

I´ve been to Dairy Guest House in York. If you like a bit of history during your stay this will be the place to be. The Dairy Guest House was originally a Victorian lawn house.  Even the decoration is still inspired in that way. Around the hotel is a flower-filled courtyard, it looks really lovely. Near the hotel you can find the Medieval city walls and besided that it´s an easy strall to many of the attractions and museums.

Together with my wife I went to the Novotel York Centre. We really had a pleasant stay there. The staff was nice and really helpful. The location of the hotel was great, it was close to the centre. If you want to stay in York in a not to expensive hotel, you should go to this hotel.
