My five mates and I went there 2 days ago, what a a great hostel, really friendly staff, would highly reccommend it.... a great hostel. Worth the travel!

In 2007 i went to australia for 3 weeks to look around and to get to know a part of australia. i stayed in this hotel and it was a really good choice to stay here. the people were friendly and i didnt pay as much as in other accomodations. thanks for making my stay in australia so nice.

I went on a backpack trip to Australia. I´ve stayed at several hostels and I know I can´t expect too much. Not for the money you´re paying. But still this Great Aussie Backpackers hostel was too awful. The rooms were mouldy and the staff wasn´t friendly either. I won´t recommend this hostel to anyone, you can better spend your money somewhere else.
