Hey! I really need info on which hotel to pick while in Melbourne in the summer. A buddy of mine lives in the city but he doesn´t have any room for me to crash there, so i have to find a hotel. The hotel should be relatively cheap, it should be clean and the rooms should be big enough for a 2 week comfortable stay. I would also hope that the hotel would have lots of younger tourists and travelers staying in it as it would be great to party with them as well. Alright i hope one of you hardcore travelers knows the nest hotel in Melbourne for me!

After a great stay with Backpacker Lodging at: (http://backpacker-lodging.com/) last year, I was delightfully encouraged by friends and relatives to spend more time in Australia and visit all the locations and hotels around Melbourne.

I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great stay around Melbourne. The location of the hotel is situated just a little bit outside of the centre. I agree that, the public transport was very convenient and the night life around Melbourne was absolutely perfect. The hotel staff were nice and friendly and the accommodation that I got was just right for the price.

Overall my stay at the Eden park Hotel was grand, the only main concern I had was that I didn´t have enough time to visit all of Melbourne.

The Eden on the Park Hotel in Melbourne, is located a little bit outside the centre of the city. But the public transport stops close by, so it wasn´t hard to go to the centre of Melbourne. The staff were very friendly and helpful and also our room was okay. We liked our stay in the Eden on the Park hotel, but maybe next time we go to a hotel closer to the centre.
